At the ACBC Victoria Chinese New Year Gala Dinner

IRI attended the Victoria Chinese New Year Gala Dinner hosted by the Australia China Business Council at The Langham, Melbourne, at the invitation of Rhys Roberts.

Congratulations again to Rhys on his election as ACBC National President. His steady leadership and ability to build trust across sectors have contributed to the Council’s growth, from policy dialogue through to practical commercial engagement.

The evening brought together people working across government, agriculture, healthcare, sports medicine, rehabilitation, education and innovation — a reminder that a stable Australia–China relationship is not abstract diplomacy. It shapes market access for producers and exporters, and it shapes how quickly clinical and technical expertise can move between the two countries.
