IRI membership options and levels
Student membership covers those who are currently enrolled in an international or nationally recognised undergraduate or graduate study program in health.
The eligible areas of study include:
- physical therapy
- occupational therapy
- speech therapy
- health science
- general practice medicine
- orthopaedic surgery
- sports medicine.
Graduate members have completed their degree qualification. They have successfully graduated with an internationally or nationally recognised qualification in the eligible areas of study covered by a student membership.
Research members have completed their undergraduate qualification in an eligible area of study. Now they have moved on to undertake further post-graduate academic study or work in a research capacity with a health-related organisation.
A Fellow will have more than 20 years of post-graduate professional experience in health and medicine related to rehabilitation. A Fellow must also have been a member of IRI for at least five years.
